Dr. Jen Tavé
Dr. JEN TAVÉ, DC, MS, FNTP, PAK
Dr. Jen Tavé, DC is passionate about living a balanced life, and sharing her experiences to help others do the same. As a chiropractor and Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, she believes that optimal health can be achieved through a multifaceted approach to address structural, functional, chemical and emotional factors.
She recieved her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic West, graduating as Saludatorian with Magna Cum Laude honors. Dr. Jen was fortunate to complete a Clerkship in the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Healthcare System, recieving training in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of musculosketetal conditions in a multidisciplinary medical setting. She was also actively involved in the Palmer West Sports Council, providing chiropractic care at a number of large sporting events including the Sea Otter Classic and the North Face Endurance Challenge. She has additionally recieved training in various techniques including Active Release Therapy (ART), Applied Kinesiology (AK), Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT) and Proprioceptive Deep Tendon Reflex (P-DTR).
She previously completed a Masters in Human Nutrition at Colorado State University where her research was focused on dietary modulation of the gut microbiota and its implications on weight regulation. She also has completed training in holistic health and nutrition, receiving certification as a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (FNTP).
Dr. Jen grew up in France and Dubai before moving to the United States to pursue her collegiate education. She ran cross-country and track in both NCAA divisions I and III and coached collegiately for a number years. She loves to share her passions for running and cycling and enjoys helping others discover its benefits that extend well beyond physical fitness.
She likes to spend her free time venturing outdoors, cycling, running and practicing yoga. She loves to compete and race on the road and gravel with the Terún Elite cycling team. When not out on her bike, she can be found enjoying a good cup of coffee, soaking up the California sun, spending time with friends or experimenting in the kitchen.
Dr. Jen finds the most joy in working to empower others to achieve wellness through compassionate and holistic care.
